Opera Santa Barbara Seating Chart

As Opera Santa Barbara performances may take place in a variety of venues, seating sections and audience capacity may change. However, opera concerts are often held in theatres which can hold large numbers of concert-goers. A venue such as the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center in New York City holds nearly 4,000 guests across its six major seating sections. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles has four tiers of seating and is able to accommodate 3,156 seats to choose for that perfect seat.

Orchestra, box seating, grand tier, dress circle and balcony sections may all be offered at a venue near you. As a general rule, those who hope for clear central views of the stage may be better served with front-of-mezzanine seats over those in the rear orchestra, as the mezzanine often overhangs the lower level.
