Promises, Weaver's debut EP, was released later that summer, climbing to Number 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart and paving the way for her first full-length album, The Fool. Released in June 2015, The Fool debuted at Number 30 in America. Weaver earned additional success as a songwriter for other artists, penning JoJo's Top 10 club single "When Love Hurts" in 2015 and contributing heavily to the BTS/Charli XCX duet "Dream Glow," which topped the US World Digital Songs chart in 2019.
