The various sections of seating are named after NASCAR legends and famous racing families. The front stretch in front of the start/finish line is named after the famed Allisons and the entry to turn 1 is named after David Pearson. The middle of turns 1 and 2 are named after Alan Kulwicki, with the Wallace Tower stacked on top. The exit of turn 2 and the back stretch feature sections named after Richard Petty, Cale Yarbrough, Junior Johnson and Jeff Gordon, with the Dale Earnhardt Terrace located above those sections. Turns 3 and 4 entirely belong to Darrell Waltrip, who holds the record for Cup Series wins at the track with 12 victories.

Bristol Motor Speedway Schedule

Bristol Motor Speedway typically features two appearances by the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series, once in the spring and once in the fall. Both Cup races are 500 laps while both Xfinity races are 300 laps. The spring dates feature the Xfinity Series competing on a Saturday afternoon with the Cup Series on Sunday afternoon. The fall race weekend includes an additional 200-lap Gander Outdoors Truck Series race and an ARCA 150-lap race.
