Brooklyn Rider Concert Tickets

Experience the cutting edge in classical music with Brooklyn Rider tickets. Brooklyn Rider is a string quartet from New York made up of members Michael Nicolas, Nicholas Cords, Colin Jacobsen and Johnny Gandelsman. They are known for playing contemporary and even experimental classical music, as well as collaborating with artists from outside the genre.

The group came together in the early 2000s in Brooklyn with a vision of pushing the boundaries of classical music. In 2006 they founded the Stillwater Music Festival, where they regularly unveil new collaborations and support rising classical artists, often with an unorthodox style.

Brooklyn Rider has performed at the American Academy in Rome, Sweden’s Malmo Festival and in 2010 became the first classical music artist invited to play at South by Southwest. The group are also enthusiastic educators and have enjoyed residencies at Dartmouth College, Texas A&M University and the MacPhail Center for the Arts, among others.

The quartet has released a handful of recordings, beginning with their 2008 release Passport. The album was named one of NPR’s best classical albums of the year. They have collaborated with a number of high-profile artists including Bjork, Elvis Costello and Rufus Wainwright. Grab Brooklyn Rider tickets today for a classical music experience you will not soon forget.
